Arima, a Surf House with Soul in Morocco

Arima means “soul”. It was born from the idea of creating a space to share more than just surf and yoga: a simple, creative, and authentic lifestyle in Tamraght.
Here you’ll find a place to disconnect, connect with nature, and discover Moroccan hospitality in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Our Story

We are Rahma and Xabi, co-founders of Arima Surf House.
Rahma, Moroccan and passionate about cooking, and Xabi, a Basque entrepreneur in love with Morocco. Together, we decided to transform our vision into a project that combines what inspires us most: surf, yoga, local culture, and community.

From the beginning, we knew Arima had to be more than just accommodation. We wanted a place where every guest feels at home, sharing authentic experiences and creating lasting memories.

I was born to live near the sea and be able to feel it every day.

I love teaching surfing and seeing the illusion generated by the first wave, as well as showing the best spots to the bravest.

Our Philosophy

Arima is not a resort or a crowded surf camp.
It is an intimate surf house, with a maximum capacity of 16 people, designed to offer a peaceful and family-like atmosphere.
