If you've been dreaming of surfing perfect waves, basking in the sun, and experiencing a new culture, Morocco is probably on your radar. But if it’s your first time planning a surf trip here, it can feel a bit overwhelming. Don't worry – we’ve got you covered.
🌊 Why Morocco?
Morocco is one of the most accessible and affordable surf destinations for European travelers. It offers warm weather, powerful Atlantic swells, friendly people, and a vibrant mix of tradition and modernity. Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate surfer, Morocco’s coastline has something for you – from mellow beach breaks to world-class point breaks.
🏄♂️ When to Come?
The best months for surf trips are:
September to April: consistent swells, fewer crowds, and mild weather.
Summer months (June–August) are less ideal for advanced surfers but still good for beginners or those looking for a relaxed vibe.
At Arima Surf House, we run our main surf packages from September to June, with special retreat programs during the low season too.
🏠 Where to Stay?
Choosing the right surf house is key. Look for:
Proximity to multiple surf spots
Daily surf lessons + transport
Experienced instructors
Healthy meals
Peaceful atmosphere
Tamraght is a small village just north of Agadir and a great base for surfing the best spots in the area. Arima Surf House is located on a quiet hill, offering panoramic views and the perfect mix of surf, yoga, and creative workshops.
📦 What’s Usually Included in a Surf Camp?
Most surf camps offer:
Accommodation
Daily breakfast and dinner
1 surf lesson per day (equipment & transport included)
Optional yoga classes
Transfers from Agadir airport or bus station
💡 At Arima Surf House, our Surf Pack includes all that – plus a stunning terrace, sunset yoga sessions, and the option to join creative workshops like cooking or jewelry-making.
✈️ Flights & Transport
Flights are not usually included in the surf pack. The best option is to fly to Agadir Airport (closest), or Marrakech and take a 3-hour bus or taxi ride. We’ll help you organize it.
🧘♀️ What Else Can You Do?
Practice yoga with a sea view
Learn to cook traditional Moroccan dishes
Join local excursions (Paradise Valley, sand surfing, souks…)
Relax and disconnect from digital overload

✅ Tips Before You Book
Always check what’s included and not included in the pack.
Look for transparent communication and flexible options.
Ask about group size – smaller groups = better vibes.
Confirm the level of the surf classes (some are only for beginners).
